As a child, Nicole would regularly walk her dog to the neighborhood animal hospital. The vet would politely pretend to do something to her perfectly healthy dog and send her on her way. Well, now Nicole is the veterinarian. She has been practicing since 2012 and has a continued interest in radiology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology and dentistry.
Before joining our family in August 2013, Nicole studied biology and chemistry at Agnes Scott University. She finished three pre-clinical years at St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, where she was also VP of the herpetology club. Nicole spent her fourth year of veterinary school at the University of Tennessee, and finished her training with a rotating internship in small animal medicine, surgery and emergency care.
Aside from Nicole’s love for animals, she also loves free stuff. You might say she’s addicted to finding free items on Craigslist and buying bulk items on Amazon. We just like to say she’s frugal and financially responsible. She’s a reader and a traveler. She can’t live without her chocolate mocha cappuccino. And she’s the inventor of the waffle with peanut butter and veggie patty breakfast sandwich … you’ll have to ask her about that one.
